Delete Your Account

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

If you can still sign in to Klar, this removes your account immediately.

1. 1.Open the Klar app and sign in.
2. 2.Go to the Settings tab.
3. 3.Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete account”.
4. 4.Confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away.

This cannot be undone. Your streak, check-ins and journal entries cannot be restored afterwards.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you have lost access to your account or already removed the app, send a deletion request to privacy@liveklar.com

• •The subject line “Account deletion request”
• •Confirmation that you want your account and all data permanently deleted

We will verify that the request matches the account and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will confirm by email once it is done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• •Your account and sign-in credentials, including your email address
• •Your start date, streak history and every clean-day record
• •All daily check-ins and mood, craving and symptom entries
• •Your onboarding assessment answers and dependency score
• •Your “Your Why” photos, notes and identity entries
• •Your lesson history, milestone cards and achievements
• •Your push notification tokens and notification preferences

Timing and retention

• In-app deletion:Immediate. Your account and all recovery data are removed from our database as soon as you confirm.
• Analytics and purchase records:Data held by our processors (PostHog for analytics, RevenueCat for purchases) is removed within 30 days of your request.
• Encrypted backups:Residual copies in routine encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
• Legal records:Where the law requires it, we keep the transaction records needed for tax and accounting purposes. These contain no recovery or health data.
